The Oscar picks for 2014 Best Supporting Actress recognize those not-so-leading ladies who despite not headlining their respective 2013 movies, still gave highly notable performances. Who will win? We'll find out on Oscar night, March 2, 2014, but until then, vote for who you think should take home the status below!
If the 2014 Academy Awards follow the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, then one could surmise that Jennifer Lawrence, who won Best Supporting Actress at the 2014 Globes has a pretty good shot at taking him the honor at the 2014 Oscars. Lawrence, who won Best Actress in 2013 for her work on "Silver Linings Playbook," is a favorite for this award as well with her role as Rosalyn Rosenfeld in "American Hustle."
Lawrence has some competition however with other talented actresses also nominated in the category. Julia Roberts, for "August: Osage County," Sally Hawkins, for "Blue Jasmine," Lupita Nyong'o, for "12 Years a Slave" and June Squibb, for "Nebraska," all look to pull the upset come Oscar Sunday.
So who should win? Share your Oscar picks for Best Supporting Actress below then head over and vote for who is most deserving of winning in other categories like Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress too!
